Description

Farmer Mental Health Conversation (free event)

Please join us (CTNOFA, Easton Ag Commission and Fairfield County Farm Bureau) for a pot luck dinner and conversation around mental health, and the challenges and pressures of the farming industry.

Farmers, we acknowledge how much you do for our community and with that comes pressure. Anthony Bordain, as an example, taught us to not to forget how important it is to circle around our community and help those in need.

Please join us March 25 from 6:00 - 8:00 at the Monroe Grange for an (industry only) presentation from the American Federation for Suicide Prevention. We will discuss signs to look for, language to use if you are concerned and places to reach out to for help whether it be large or small.

This event is a potluck - email us if you want to contribute.

NOW, this is the important part. We only have a certain amount of space and this is important. We are asking you RSVP  using this registration form with a 99.9% confirmation of yourself and your peeps. Whatever space is NOT reserved after March 15 will be offered to other farmers. Once you have responded additional details will be provided closer to the date.
