At Natureworks in Northford, CT

WHO & WHAT:  Create An Organic Connecticut Day ~ An Afternoon with CT NOFA & Organic Garden Expert, Nancy DuBrule-Clemente at Natureworks Garden Center. The theme of the day will be MONARCHS! So join us in her gardens in your best butterly apparel!

• 1:00 PM ~ Organic NOFA-style Potluck Lunch Gathering: Please bring a small dish or item to share. Bring a plate, fork, BYOB welcome but refreshments will be provided by CT NOFA. Email or call with message of an idea of what you may bring (appetizer, main, dessert, beverages).  {BRINGING A DISH? Great! Note: no heating/kitchen facilities are available on-site. Room temp or ready-to-serve dishes are best.}
2:30 PM ~ Monarch Tagging & Gardening Workshop: take your backyard to the next level when organic gardening expert and Natureworks owner Nancy DuBrule shares her favorite monarch migration & native pollinator plantings during a workshop and tour of her amazing organic garden center (Natureworks, Northford, CT)

At the Create An Organic Connecticut Day, come for free to:

Learn something cool; drink something cold; and eat something organic, when you come out to learn about CT NOFA! Stay for a short or long spell. All ages are welcome to explore and play at Natureworks Garden Center.

WHAT TO KNOW:

  • Cost: Event is FREE to attend and CT NOFA membership not required - but Nancy sure hopes you WILL join if you’re not yet a supporter!
  • For Potluck Lunch: Bring a small dish to share with a list of ingredients; bring a plate, cup, fork, etc.; BYOB of any kind welcome
