Join the NOFA OLC program and Almstead Tree and Shrub Care's Dan Dalton as we go through proper pruning techniques and learn the basics of organic tree and shrub care. This event will include class time and hands-on, in-the-field pruning and shrub care instruction. $50 for AOLCPs and NOFA members or $60 for non-members. 3 CEUs for NOFA A.O.L.C.P.s & ISA CEUs pending. Instructor: Dan Dalton, NOFA AOLCP
Dan Dalton is an experienced Arborist, landscape manager, and educator. He is an arborist with Almstead Tree and Shrub Care Company and an Adjunct Professor in the Horticulture Program in Naugatuck Valley Community College. Dan is an AOLCP and has taught at a number of NOFA workshops and accreditation courses. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a masters from Syracuse University.
